We kicked off the morning by highlighting the achievements of the 2024 campaign—stories of real lives changed because of your generosity. Whether it was a child gaining confidence in after-school programming or a family connected to vital resources through 211, the message was clear: your support fuels hope.

Walking in Someone Else’s Shoes

Attendees also participated in a powerful ALICE simulation—an eye-opening activity that challenged each table to step into the shoes of a working household struggling to make ends meet. With limited funds, surprise expenses, and tough choices, the experience reminded us just how close many of our neighbors are to crisis—and how essential it is that our community safety nets remain strong.
