Sangamon County Disaster Recovery Coalition

The Sangamon County Disaster Recover Coalition is a year-round network that brings organizations together before disasters occur. Through ongoing collaboration, members build relationships, share knowledge, and coordinate resources across all phases of the disaster cycle, helping ensure a more effective response to the unmet needs of disaster survivors.

Ways to Get Involved:

The Sangamon County Disaster Recovery Coalition has an entire page on United Way's Volunteerism Hub to allow volunteers to sign up prior to a disaster occurring. Training and onboarding will also be offered.

If you are interested in joining the Sangamon County Disaster Recovery Coalition please access the following forms:

-SCDRC Application Form

-Member Letter of Intent

-Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement

Once you have completed all forms, please email them to Terri Casey at terrim@illinois.edu and they will be reviewed withing 2-3 business days.

 

Click the link below to make a donation that will be used to support disaster recovery efforts in Sangamon County. Funds will be distributed by the Sangamon County Disaster Recovery Coalition to organizations providing assistance and resources to those impacted by a disaster.
