UNITED FOR GOOD

Working together for a better tomorrow.

United Way’s work is made possible thanks to the generosity of the community and our corporate partners. We want to be the best partners we can be, to help you reach your philanthropic goals.

We understand the value of engaging employees and customers in your efforts to give back to the communities you do business in, and we offer many partnership opportunities to make that possible. Our goal is to find opportunities for a business to join us in an impactful, united partnership.

As a United for Good partner, we work with you to identify areas that match your philanthropic interests and to create a tailored partnership to support those interests. This ensures that you get the greatest personal rewards from your support and United Way is able to maximize your contributions to benefit the community. We’ll also communicate along the way, working together to market your support to our audience and to provide you with timely impact reports.

MAKING THE GRADE

Encourage the next generation to pursue academic excellence and plan for a future after high school.

Making the grade is an in-school mentoring program which connects members of the community with students to encourage their success after high school. Want to volunteer? Volunteer mentors attend up to four MTG conferences during the school year. During the 2-3 hour events, mentors meet with students to review academic progress, discuss challenges and opportunities, and talk about the future.

By offering accessible mentoring opportunities in-school, students are provided a way to help them reflect on their academic performance, set goals, and plan for the future. It is also important because it acts as an intervention system for students to get any help they may need.
