Celebrate Impact: Campaign Award Categories
Each year, United Way of Central Illinois honors the workplace campaigns that go above and beyond to strengthen our community. At our annual spring Campaign Celebration, we proudly recognize the creativity, enthusiasm, and generosity of companies and organizations across Central Illinois.
The categories below reflect our 2026 campaign year and will be celebrated at Campaign Celebration in Spring 2027.
Individual Awards:
Outstanding ECC of the Year
• ECCs are the backbone of every successful workplace campaign. This award honors the individual who brought exceptional energy, dedication, and heart to their campaign this year.
Company & Nonprofit Awards:
Rising Star Award Open to Companies and Nonprofits
• This award recognizes a campaign that truly stood out- whether through creative events, an energetic kickoff, strong employee participation, or impressive donation turnout. If your organization brought something special this year, this one's for you.
Most Generous Companies
• Recognizing the top 10 companies that raised the most in total campaign dollars- combining employee giving, special event proceeds, and corporate gifts.
Most Generous Non-profits
• Celebrating the top 5 small nonprofits (organizations with fewer than 200 employees) that raised the most in total campaign dollars- combining employee giving, special event proceeds, and corporate gifts.
Most Engaged Campaigns Open to Companies and Nonprofits
• Great campaigns do more than raise dollars- they bring people together. This award honors organizations that found meaningful ways to engage their employees, whether by increasing participation, trying something new, or creating an experience that energized their whole team.
