A Holiday Message from Marne
Hello and Happy Holidays from United Way. I wanted to touch base with you about United Way's end of year campaign which revolves around early learning literacy. We know the impact that books make. They help children develop a rich vocabulary, self expression and reading comprehension. These tools all enable our youngest learners to be ready to enter kindergarten with a love of books and a readiness to learn.
I can remember growing up having books around me and reading all the time. I know the impact that this can make. I hope you'll consider making an end of year gift to early literacy in helping our youngest learners in the community thrive as they head off to kindergarten.
